A Youthful Journey

 💻Teaching is both a duty and a privilege. I, as a future teacher, aim to help students comprehend the importance of content and at the same time develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills . I hope to inspire them traits of curiosity, flexibility, and lifelong learning. Besides that, I consider myself as guide who supports the students in their way to becoming competent leaners and be better persons. A class is a community of students who are actively involved in their learning through their interaction with the material, each other, the teacher, and the environment . I can also use case studies, simulations, and team-based projects to help students become fully involved in learning from the material. I incorporate lectures with interactive discussions that not only encourage students' participation but also enrich their understanding.       📚 Teaching isn’t just an ordinary job, it’s a profession, a vocation, and a mission .      I began my journey in Pharmacy , where I write endless lab reports and slept late at nights to review for tests. But despite my best efforts, I ended up failing one of my classes and that was a turning point for me. I remember myself sitting on the end of my bed in a corner days after Christmas, thinking of changing program. It was at that point, I thought – of my younger self – a little girl   who once tell everyone, “ gusto ko maging teacher para makahawak ng chalk ,” and who loved to play-pretend with her imaginary students.
