Balancing Act Work: Aiming for Excellence

 ðŸ“‚ Teaching is more than just a calling; it is also a responsibility that is regulated by laws and moral standards.       It is very important to adhere to these legal requirements so that I will be safeguarded against being teacher-shamed and also to avoid any legal issues. The Education Act of 1982 makes me realize that aside from rights, teachers are given various duties including academic freedom and the responsibility to protect students rights. Also, the Magna Carta for Public School Teachers offers teachers with permanent status, the right due process, and protection from false charges. Such clauses makes me feel safe and confident that even though teachers are the ones to enforce discipline and professionalism, they also have the right to be treated fairly.      One time, my teacher lightly pulled my hair while we were in class.
